Instructional Resource Center (IRC)
The IRC (Room 008K in University Hall, Bayh College of Education) makes
several types of traditional media equipment available for faculty and
student use and offers facilities for video editing. Faculty may
place materials on reserve for use by their students.
IRC Hours (when school is in session):
FALL & SPRING:
Monday-Thursday: 8:00 am - 9:00 pm
Friday: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
SUMMER:
Monday-Friday: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
 The
Ellison Lettering machine, a die cutting machine, allows
students to cut letters, numbers, shapes and borders. The Media
Lab has four fonts, upper and lower case, in addition to a wide
range of shapes and borders. |
 A new pouch laminator
is available for small to medium sized projects. Students
may purchase laminating film at the ISU Bookstore or the IRC. |
The spiral binder punches holes in and
then places a plastic comb long the edge of pages to neatly
prepare a book. Plastic combs are available in
various widths, to accommodate any number of pages. |
