Drake Praxis Award and Drake Textbook Award

General Scholarship Information for Students in Teacher Education Programs

New freshmen/new transfer students (students who will begin at ISU in the Fall of 2010) will be considered for Bayh College of Education scholarships based upon their high school/college academic record. New Freshmen/new transfer candidates (students who will begin at ISU in the Fall of 2010) do not need to apply for these scholarships, but will automatically be considered once they are admitted to a teaching major by the Office of Admissions. For best consideration, students need to be admitted to the University by January 1 for the following academic year.

Continuing students are also eligible for some Bayh College of Education scholarships. Continuing students will need to apply for these scholarships.

Students must be declared in a teaching major at Indiana State University for consideration.

Applications received after the established deadline cannot be guaranteed consideration.
