The Teacher Education Program of Indiana State University has been approved by the:
Division of Professional Standards (DPS)
National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).
Graduates of Indiana State University who successfully complete the teacher licensing programs and the appropriate state-required tests are qualified for teaching licenses in Indiana and in other states that recognize the completion of an NCATE approved program as a basis for licensure and in those states that have signed an interstate compact agreement with the State of Indiana.
