SCHOOL COUNSELING
Indiana State University Department of Counseling is pleased to announce
that The Council for the Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational
Programs (CACREP), a specialized accrediting body recognized by the Council
for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), has granted accreditation to the
School Counselor (M.Ed.) and Clinical Mental Health Counseling (M.S.) programs in the
Department of Counseling.
Many faculty, students, and administrators labored to make this
accreditation possible, and they were all rewarded for their efforts with
accreditation status for eight (8) years for both programs.
The Department of Counseling is confident that such an accomplishment
demonstrates not only our commitment to pedagogical and training excellence,
but also our ongoing commitment to our students.
