PDS School Improvement

The PDS Partnership of schools and districts are assisting and benefiting from every phase of the Project through teacher and administrator collaboration input for the teacher education program reform, continued teacher and leadership professional development workshops, and mentor teacher training. In addition to participation in the above activities, the grant is supporting the continued professional development and school improvement initiatives of partner schools by sponsoring a “call for proposals” during years two through five of the grant. The clearinghouse and approval authority for the proposals is the established PDS Steering Council. Following the approval of the Council, the grant provides funds to support the proposals and the year-round initiatives set forth in the proposals.
